Hello! My name is Tameka and I am known as THE Rock Star Trainer! What makes me a Rock Star? The passion for the profession. I came into the wonderful world of early care and education through Head Start in 1998. Since that time, I have served in a wide range of excellent roles with fabulous children, families and staff: in the classroom, after school programming and summer enrichment programming. I have served as a Regulatory Specialist, an Early Childhood Services Manager, a Mental Health Manager and Database Administrator. Currently, I am a Certified Childcare Trainer. My mission for early care and education: Teach! Grow! Revolutionize! So.... what should people talk to me about? Let's talk about transforming early care and education. Let's talk about how we can collaborate to create improved services for children, families and staff. Let's talk about how we can radically transform the early care and education setting. This event is going to be awesome and I am stupendously excited to be a part of the experience.
